Nearly fine copies. 1840. 1st. leather. 8vo, 785 pp., Bound in full brown calf by Root & Son with five raised bands on the spine and contrasting color labels for the title, illustrator and date; gilt- stamped decorations in the spine panels and top edges gilt. The original red cloth front & rear panels and spines are carefully bound in at the rear of each volume. The second volume is dated 1841 and the set is complete. .
