Near fine in green cloth covered boards with gilt and silver color text with red embellishments on the spine and with the same with added decorations on the front board. A 12mo of 7 3/8 by 5 inches with touches of rubbing to the cloth at the head and heel of the spine and with a prior owner's name in ink on the first free end page. Without a dust jacket. 301 pages of text. Illustrated with a frontispiece and 14 plates from work by H. C. Edwards. The artist of the cover art is not identified, but it is reminiscent of the art nouveau style.
