Red cloth boards lettered in gilt and with a black-and-white illustration mounted on front board. A few pages with a faint crease at top corner, binding a little loose, near fine in a good only dust jacket with slight creasing to the bottom of the front panel and flap, moderate tears and chipping on the spine with ½" loss at ends, and small chips and tears at the extremities. Scarce in the fragile dust jacket. Author's second "Uncle Terry" novel, this time focused on his love for his adopted daughter.
