1877. Paperback. Good Plus. Previous owner's 1879 inscription, in ink, to front free endpaper. Acid transfer to endpapers. Age-tanned. Hinges started. Moderately worn covers. Gilt lettering and design debossed to center of beautiful royal blue, pressed-designed covers. Letter dated 1979, laid-in. 175 pp. Clean. "A social heaven is accordingly the leading idea which I have endeavoured to embody and illustrate in the followiing treatise," (preface). Written in three parts : Part I - Heaven our Home ; Part II - Recognition of Friends in Heaven ; Part III - The Interest those in Heaven feel in Earth.
