Overall in very good condition. Author's signed four-line presentation inscription in ink to [João] Aragão Barros on title page. (8 ll.). *** FIRST and ONLY EDITION of this poem set in Heidelberg. The author (1900-1970), distinguished publicist and notary, was the son of António Tavares de Carvalho, notary of King Manuel II.
