No date but Copac cite 1914 for this fine illustrated edition; pp.xii, 247, 16 fine tipped-in colour plates and about 40 b/w line drawings. Original red cloth binding with gilt lettering, and gilt vignette of two children to the front board, generally very good with minimal rubbing, a little spotting/fading to the fore-edge of the front board and the spine a little faded and dulled. Contents clean and tight, no inscriptions, no foxing, all the plates are in very good condition and all the captioned tissue guards are present, a couple with slight creases. A very good copy..
