First published in 1875, this reprint circa 1928, judging by the titles listed inside the jacket. Illustrated by the exuberant Tod Dwiggins. Hardcover, full tan cloth, red & black titling & decoration. Light wear to book, pencil note on free endsheet; jacket rubbed, chipped, torn; missing a triangular inch from the head of the spine, affecting the title; most of the front panel intact, featuring full color art by W. S. Rogers. Text clean; [6], 244 pages + 4 pages publisher's ads; line drawings by 'Dwig'. Scarce in the jacket.. Later Edition. Cloth. Very Good/Fair. Illus. by Tod Dwiggins [Dwig]. 5½" by 7½".
