Sobre este artículo
William Morrow, 2006. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Fine/Near Fine. First printing, inscribed on the title page: "To Susan + Zara: Everybody Must Be Part Of The Solution! Joseph Romm, 11/27/07." With blurbs from James Hansen and Tim Flannery among others. Romm, who has a PhD in physics from MIT, is the founder and executive director of the Center for Energy and Climate Solutions. A reviewer for Grist.org wrote that this book "may be the most depressing book on climate change Ive read," which probably means it's essential reading. A note in another hand on the FFEP lists a a climate change activism website address, perhaps a note to self about how to take action. Otherwise a fine book in a very near fine jacket. Uncommon signed.

Sobre Rural Hours
Rural Hours (formerly Wood + River = Books, est. 2019) specializes in ecology, natural history, nature writing, the environment, environmental literature, and contemporary essay, with a special passion for association copies and notable inscriptions. We draw our name from the popular-but-then-forgotten book by Susan Fenimore Cooper (published in 1850), generally considered the first work of environmental creative nonfiction by a woman in the U.S. We are interested in challenging and expanding the canon of environmental literature and finding books that tell remarkable stories and illuminate the tradition of writing about place and natural history.
