(1st) Larger, heavy book, smooth blue cloth with bright gilt sailship at bottom front right, lighter blue wave design on top and bottom edges, gilt lettering badly rubbed on spine, blue map of Siberian-Alaskan region with illustration of ship, of men and rowboat inside covers and adjacent end papers, the route in red, 421 lightly browned heavy pages plus ads. DJ beneath mylar, glossy blue with red border to bottom front and spine, illustration of men and rowboat on front, b/w photo of Ellsberg at top back right with praise for his other books. DJ has tiny tear with slight wear to tips slightly faded along top and long front edge as well as spine, tiny tear at spine edges. Fair DJ/Fine book.
