Sobre este artículo
Horace Liveright, 1929. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Near Fine/Very Good. Full dark orange cloth with embossed lettering to front board, lighter orange lettering & decoration to spine, blue & green dust jacket with $3.00 price intact, 8-5/8" tall, 339 pp. Slight turning in at extremities, bookplate to front endpaper; dust jacket lightly toned at spine, small closed tears to edges, small hole (size of a skinny ladybug) to rear panel; presents very well. Anderson's writing had a significant impact on the development of American literature, particularly through his focus on the lives of ordinary people and his rejection of the romanticism and sentimentality that had characterized much of American literature up to that point. "Hello Towns" chronicles one year in the life of such a town.
