FIRST EDITION FIRST ISSUE (1951), price 1/6 and illustrations wrongly attributed on the title page to Molly Brett. 140 x 132 mm, 5½ x 5¼ inches, cloth backed colour illustrated limp cream card covers, black and white photo of Blyton on lower cover, 48 pages. Coloured and black and white illustrations throughout. No inscriptions, tiny dark rust mark to cloth from staples, tiny very light crease to upper corner of upper cover and to first few pages. Otherwise a near Fine very clean copy, unused. Priced 1/6 in a single small diamond in the lower margin of upper cover. Summerfield Volume II, page 110.
