Boston: United States Fuel Administration, 1912. Perforated 40lb booklet. 8vo. pp. 3. Near Fine. Rusted paperclip imprint which was not removed when I de-acidified the scarce information sheet perforated so you can tear them off and "Paste it by the Furnace" and Paste it by the Range". It was obviously unpasted. Storrow was the New England Fuel Administrator during WWI and was largely responsible for preventing a coal shortage in the northeast using his own credit to insure shipments. Instrumental in forming General Motors, he was the business partner of Henry Lee Higginson, founder of the Boston Symphony Orchestra. He served on the Boston City Council 1915-18 and later as the National President of the Boy Scouts of America 1925-his death. He is remembered for his 1901 campaign to begin the Charles River Basin completed in 1910 and by Storrow Drive down the Charles River was named for him..
