Bound into full brown leather with leather spine label and gilt decorations to spine. Marble endpapers and foredges. 11 full page illustrations including a frontispiece and an illustration in front of each of the 10 sections of the poem. French language text. Top 3 cm of front cover hinge are cracked and head of spine and corners of boards show rubbing and chipping. Previous owner's bookplate on front fixed endapepr. Cohen pg 1025.
