New York: Frick Collection. Very Good in Very Good- dust jacket. 1936. Hardcover. This is a nice copy of this biography of the anti-union industrialist Henry Clay Frick (Carnegie Steel and the Homestead Strike). It was reprinted by his foundation from the Scribner original edition of 1928 ("Privately Printed"). He became a patron of the arts (the Frick Collection) with some of his enormous wealth. Two Frick Collection brochures are loosely laid in. There is a previous owner's name with "purchased .. 1965 at the Frick Collection" at the top edge of the front end paper, else this is a clean, unmarked, and tight book. The dust jacket has wear, but is still serviceable and presentable. The only date is 1936--it may be a reprint of the 1936 edition.; Frontis Illustration; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 382 pages .
