Illustrated with 40 full colour and 264 b/w phototypes of Moore's work covering a period of over 50 years; drawing for Moore was often been an autonomous activity, as was shown in the period preceding and covering WWII, when he created the idiosyncratic human forms that Lord Clark calls:"Dramatis Personae".
