HENRY W. SLOCUM (1827-1894). Slocum was a Union Army General who saw action at First Manassas, Antietam and Chancellorsville, and then was a Representative from New York. PS. N.d. N.p. A cabinet card signed “H. W. Slocum” on both the recto and verso. The image, by Brisbois of Chicago, depicts an older Slocum in half length, with his head turned to the side. It is in fine condition.
