NY: John F. Henry & Co., 1882. (USA) First Thus 17 x 9.5 cm, paper covers with illus of housewife at kitchen table, saddle-stiched with thread, unpaginated (32pp). The John F. Henry Company sold Oxygenated Bitters and Kellinger's Infallible Ointment, and Scovill's Blood and Liver Syrup. Most of the book consists of testimonials and prasies for these remedies with recipe pages here and there for Charlotte Russe, and Lobster salad. There is a calaendar for 1882 to the back cover. Some rubbing to cover edges, light foxing to pages with a spot here and there, the back cover has a 2 1/2" tear from the fore-edge. A delicate book, VG (-) given its age. (0.8 Docket 11 HOX 1/a11. Staple Bound. Very Good (-). 16mo - over 5¾" - 6¾" tall.

Postage is $11.99US for Expedited Parcel Post in Canada for the first book weighing up to 2 pounds; and US $6.00 for each additional book weighing up to 2 pounds. Postage is $6.99 US, media mail for the first book the US weighing up to 2 pounds; $3.00 for each additional book for shipping by media mail to the US for books weighing up to 2 pounds. Books weighing more than 2 pounds, and priority shipping will be quoted. We are glad to quote delivery cost to international buyers. Books are carefully wrapped and shipped in corrugated cardboard cartons. Books are returnable for a full refund if the book is not as described. The book price only will be refunded for any other reason. Please notify JWMah in advance of any return within 7 days of receipt of the book before sending it back.
