Pictorial boards with illuminated pastedown, a few spots to spine and minor bowing to boards, other wise it appears untouched, plain glassene wrapper with a few nicks and spots, original box is worn, unevenly darkened with small losses and splits. Three romantic letters in verse. This is quite a production with 9 color plates with lettered tissue guards and a color title page, 30 plates in yellow and black and 6 b&w plates. Every other page is adorned with a small line decoration with gilt accent. Rare in such lovely condition and in the original box.. First Thus. Pictorial Cover. Near Fine/Near Fine.
