With beautifully full-page chromolithographed plates depicting a variety of divisions in the regiments of the Queen's forces, such as: the royal artillery, the horse guards, the Bengal cavalry, Victorian forces, the Welsh regiment, the Royal marines, etc. Books ar textured red cloth w.black titling and medal stamp to top boards,gilt titling to spines lightly sunned,mod.rubbed with gilt trim to pages. All volumes clean and in excellent condition except small repair to top spine of Vol 2. Light sporadic foxing to Vol 1. Overall a colorful and clean set.. 1st Edition. Cloth. Very Good+/No Jacket - Issued. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.
