Sobre este artículo
New York, New York, U.S.A.: Rinehart and Company, 1959. Half-Leather. Very Good Plus. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall. First issued in 1957. This is the 1959 deluxe limited edition. This is copy #271, hand bound by The Launder Bookbindery, New York City, for Harry Camp Millinery Company, December 1959. NOT ex-library. Wedgwood blue half leather binding, with blue and ivory paper hardboards in a charming renaissance pattern reminiscent of William Morris wallpaper. Fairly crisp gilt-stamped lettering to the spine. Generally unbumped and with sharp corners. Very light rubbing at spine head and tail and at top corners. An exceptionally clean binding. T.E.G. 10 x 7 inches. With xx and 265 numbered pages. With numerous B&W archival photos, many of which are half-page or two-thirds page in dimension. Rear FEP with previous owner name and date in neat ink hand. Else a clean and presentable volume. A Very Good Plus copy. Scarce in any condition. A significant scholarly work and a desirable item for aficionados of California domestic architecture and fine bindings.

Sobre Marc Sena Carrel
I deal principally in rare and fine books. I also sell antique prints, including Japanese ukiyo-e. I have eclectic and wide-ranging interests and my collection generally emphasizes art titles. Areas of book specialization include: Art, Architecture, Design, Antiques, Antiquities, Small Press/Fine Press. As for prints, I am chiefly interested in ukiyo-e, ornithologicals, iconography and churches. I have a small but choice selection of books and prints available for the discriminating collector/buyer. My goal is to establish and maintain a stock in trade of a few thousand fine books and a few hundred noteworthy prints.
