New York: Harper & Brothers Publishers, 1949. As. Hardcover. Fine/Very Good. This essay was first published in "Holiday" magazine in 1949. Although a Book Club Edition, the title page still indicates "First Edition" and the code "I-Y". [Hall A17]. 54 pp. 4to. Minor chipping to edges of dust jacket, small losses at head and foot of spine, "Book Club of the Month" printed on top of front dust jacket flap; dust jacket now in mylar cover. Gray cloth boards with red embossed titling to cover board and spine, "Book Club" tiny red dot on lower right corner of base of rear board, staining to lower right corner and lower left corner of front and rear boards. Clean and crisp within.
