Page edges beginning to tan (due to the poor quality of paper used) otherwise a near fine copy in a D/W with just the merest hint of spine fade. Inscribed by the Author on the half-title page: "To Jessie and Joe,/ with love/ from/ Edith./ Ellis Peters,/ February 1989". Jessie Hodgson (nee Edward) was Ellis Peters' first cousin. Ellis Peters' real name was Edith Mary Pargeter. A superb Association Copy.
