Dr. Hertzler, the Horse and Buggy Doctor, of Halstead and his wife, Dr. Irene Koeneke-Hertzler, the Hertzler Research Foundation, the Kansas Health Museum, and many others who helped contribute to the living memorial to Dr. Hertzler, are the subjects of this book. Dr. Hertzler helped health care in Kansas grow as his career spanned the years in which Kansas grew from horse and buggy frontiers to modern communities. The name Hertzler adn Halstead are forever linked with health and medicine. A clean very presentable copy in a Brodart mylar jacket.
