Sobre este artículo
's Gravenhage: J. Immerzeel, Junior, 1829. Third edition (first published in 1792), 8vo, pp. [9], vi-xiv, 105, [3]; engraved vignette title page, 8 engraved head- and tail-pieces (signed Reinier Vinkeles); original yellow paper-covered boards, printed paper label on spine. Good and sound. Vinkeles (1741-1816) was an engraver in Amsterdam, who also worked as a draughtsman. Trained under Jan Punt, and then under Le Bas in Paris 1771-1772. Het Graf belongs to the funerary and night poetry as it was written throughout Europe, although the genre had already declined by the time Feith wrote his work. Buijnsters calls the poem the monumental final piece of our Dutch mortuary poetry from the second half of the eighteenth century. Reinier Vinkeles' vignettes are closely related to Feith's text, so that there must have been intensive consultation between the writer and engraver.
