New York: The Viking Press, 1938. Limited 1st Edition. Hardcover. 461p. INSCRIBED BY THE AUTHOR. A green cloth hardcover book in very good condition. Endpapers tanned and frontispiece has faded onto the title page. Binding slightly exposed in the gutter of pages 340-341, but the pages are still securely attached. The text is unmarked. This is copy G of 15 presentation copies; there were also 150 copies for sale. This particular copy is warmly inscribed by the author to bookbinder Milton Glick.
