This book is better than reprints because it has color photos that are not reproduced in the later editions. This hefty book measures 26mm tall x 177mm, and has 398 pages, 20 color (many double page) & 134 b/w photos, 10 maps, appendix, biblio. Original grey cloth, silver lettering cover & spine. CONDITION of book is fine with no previous owner marks or writing on any pages, binding is clean, crisp and tight. SIGNED by Jon Waterman on the title page. CONDITION of dust wrapper is fine (no tears, no marks, like new). This is one of the best books on climbing in Alaska, written by a climber who has been on many of the cold and challenging ascents.
