It caused somewhat of a scandal upon its released due to its depictions of his bohemian lifestyle.Written by painter Michael Wishart, an English figurative painter known for his bohemian lifestyle and eminent friends. The first edition of this uncommon work. With a loosely inserted typewritten review of the work by Frank Rudman.Illustrated with photographs throughout the work. In the publisher's original full cloth binding with an unclipped dust wrapper. Externally lovely, with just some slight bumping to the head and tail of the spine. Dust wrapper is in excellent condition, with just some slight general wear. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Near Fine

Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
