Sobre este artículo
Whittier Books, Inc, 1957. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good. 64 pages. Maude Hadden, with her husband Alexander Mectier Hadden, founded the Institute of World Affairs in Geneva, Switzerland in 1921. It was started as the Students International Union (SIU) by the League of Nations. In 1941 it moved to New York. Inscribed by the author on front free endpaper: 'To Mrs. Percy Peck with affectionate greetings Maude Miner Hadden.' Autograph note signed Maude in envelope tipped-in at rear. Typed prayer, folded, composed by Hadden and signed with full name also in rear envelope. First edition (first printing). A very good copy in blue cloth with bright silver lettering on front cover and spine. Minor edge wear. Front pastedown and front free endpaper with browning from paper and tape (no longer present). Unclipped, very good dust jacket with chip missing top of front cover extending to top of spine, not affecting lettering.
