Sobre este artículo

Auburn: Derby & Miller, 1852. Hardcover. ix, 204p., tissue-guarded steel-engraved frontis portrait of Seward, 7.2x4.7 inch cloth boards with spine-title gilt and blind panelling of covers. Find previous owner's pencil signature (very old), irregular foxing to preliminary (including portrait) and to terminal leaves, some edgewear with eighth-inch losses at rims and corner-tips. A good-only copy. Hosmer's disquisition, dedicated to Seward, is a pungent attack against slavery in all its manifestations.
