London: B T Batsford, 1939. Second edition (hardback). 8vo (21cm by 14cm), viii, 120pp. 118 plates (including a colour frontispiece), folding map. Original orange cloth, dustwrapper (by Brian Cook). There is some foxing to the preliminary pages and the edges of the text block, and an ownership inscription; overall, the book is in good to very good condition. The dustwrapper is in good condition (edges chipped, price-clipped). The dustwrapper has now been put in a mylar cover to protect it.
