Sobre este artículo
Harper and Brothers, 1941. Cloth. Near Fine/Good. (D-I) Slightly smaller book, dark gray cloth, 386 lightly browned pages plus a news article "Book Scene" on "A Literary Scandal" raising questions about how the truth author of Wolfe's works is. Final end papers browned from news article. DJ price-clipped, beneath mylar with black background and color-illustration of river town on front, b/w photo with praise on back. DJ has slight surface wear to front and spine edges, a little less to long spine edges. Good DJ/Near Fine book.
Sinopsis
The third and last book posthumously culled from the mountains of manuscripts Thomas Wolfe left behind when he died at the age of 37. It includes short stories and ten chapters from a longer piece of fiction, some of the work considered to be his best and most mature work. This work includes a Note of Thomas Wolfe by Edward C. Aswell, Wolfe's last editor who published three of his books after Wolfe's death.
