The volume is bumped on the spine tail, has some light soiling on the rear panel, a border containing Chinese characters is stamped onto the front endpaper, and there is considerable red ink underlining and some marginal notes throughout the text. The dust jacket is missing the entire front panel. its rear panel has a vertical crease.
