Sue Hostetler is the author of Oceans , which included the work of more than eighty of the most important photographers of our time. She photo-edited such titles as The Lucky Magazine Shopping Manual , Paul Starr on Beauty: Conversations with Thirty Celebrated Women , and Rolex: 12 Giants . As a photojournalist, Hostetler has traveled to Rwanda, Chechnya, Azerbaijan, Guatemala, and Cuba. She resides in Los Angeles and New York with her husband and daughter. Peter Christiansen Valli is a nationally recognized architectural photographer whose work has been featured in numerous books and ad campaigns. His photographs have appeared in Architectural Digest and other shelter magazines for more than twenty years. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife and three daughters.
