Preserved in the original double slipcase (slightly discoloured). Finely printed in red and black on "vélin Alfama filigrané des Papéteries du Marais" in 2000 numbered copies (here #1349). With facsimiles and book decorations throughout. A nice and clean copy of this classic. This text is based on the bilinguel edition published by in 1595 by the physician from Metz, Anuce Foés (1528-1595) which had numerous notes : its Greek text remains nearly exactly the same as it was in 1538, whereas its Latin translation is often retranslated. See Choulant, "Handbuch".
