D. Appleton And Company, 1925. First Edition . Hardcover. Collectible; VG/Jacket present as described. This hardcover book is square and tight. The boards and spine have no wear with pristine gilt, and two small scuffs to fore edge. The pages and endpages are clean, with no markings or folds. There is a gift inscription on the free end page dated Feb. 14, 1929. The dustjacket is Good Minus, being chipped and torn. It is now attractively protected by Brodart. Jacket is not clipped. Not ex-lib. No remainder mark. Small period bookstore sticker (McClelland & Co. Booksellers) is present on inner board. First edition (1) is at the foot of the last page.
