New York: The Mershon Company. Fair with no dust jacket. N.D.. Early Reprint. Hardcover. Signed, "Your pastor/ Charles M. Sheldon/ April 1, 1900," on the ffep. Library markings from the Topeka Public Library are light and include a donation bookplate (on ffep with signature) and a couple of stamps. The front free end page is very nearly detached and held by older invisible tape. Text is deeply toned and very slightly brittle but otherwise clean. Binding remains tight. Covers worn at all edges with a split in the cloth of the front hinge. Gilt floral front cover decoration a little dull but attractive. Spine faded. ; Ex-Library; 16mo 6" - 7" tall; 275 pages; Signed by Author .
