Historia Familiae Sacrae ex Antiquis Monumentis Collecta ab Antonio Sandino ejusque Postumis Curis, Retractatior et Auctior (by Antonio Sandino, also written Antonius Sandinus, Antonio Sandini etc). Venetiis, ex Typographia Balleoniana. Bound in octavo; half vellum, marbled-paper covered boards, I think contemporary. Published after the author's death, with additional material (see below). Vignettes, decorated initials etc. Contains: title page (1 leaf), a brief biography of the author (2 pp.), Ad Lectorem (2pp.), a brief biography of Sandino (5pp.), a list of sources (5pp.), a list of Sandino's works (1p.), note on revisions etc (1p.). The main work is paginated 1 to 303, then an Index Chronologicus 304-308 and an index of subjects 309 - 320. The catalogue of sources is substantial and for most works includes publication information. Condition notes: Ink stamp to title and first text page, A d'Arcy, not recent, and relatively recent brief pencil biographical notes on Sandino to front free end paper. Spine somewhat soiled, corners bumped, some age-darkening to pages, but overall a nice copy.
