Oxford: Clarendon Press / Oxford University Press, 1913. Cloth. Good. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. 1913-1915. Pages; VIII, 331, (1) / VIII, 533, (5). Volume 1 contains 14 sheets of colour maps (13 are folding, 1 single page), volume 2 contains 9 folding maps(2 colour) and 9 full page + 2 in text. Green cloth bindings, rubbing and wear to the cloth, hinges a bit loose but good and secure. The maps are checked complete. Some top corner margin chips towards the rear of vol 1, some pages with thin ink score across the middle of the page, not obscuring text (most of the books are okay). The maps are in pretty good order. Original owners signature on the endpaper of volume 2 of Cecil Headlam, First-Class cricketer who played for Middlesex, and author of several travel books and edited The Milner Papers South Africa. Contains much on the Boer War.
