Book has name of previous owner(s) written in several places throughout the book. Lots of scribbles on front board and throughout. Splitting in gutters of the first 20 or so pages. Some pages are ripped. Half of one of the free end papers is ripped out. No pages are falling out. Age-toned pages. Lots of illustrations with a couple of maps. Book cocks. There is twist. Darkened text block edges. An interesting bit of Americana. 585 pages plus the index/appendix.
