Highgate: Published by the author, 1842. One folding map, one folding plan, two other plates ( so presumably lacking four plates ?? There is no trace of these having been bound in, and certainly nothing as a frontispiece, so possibly this is a late issue ?). pp viii, 174, hinges slightly sprung, so fore-edge a little uneven, original blue decorated cloth, the spine and upper cover extremely unevenly faded, spine head a little frayed and pulled. [From the library of the naturalist and conservationist Richard Fitter).. First Edition. Cloth. Good.
