Pp x, 172 with text figs. plus a double-page frontispiece & 18 further plates containing a total of 30 b/w photographs; 2 double-page photographs of 272 members of staff and management [with printed transparent overlays naming each individual], and 6 colour-printed maps. The original binding of dark-blue cloth-covered boards/gilt titles is somewhat damp-marked to the upper tenth, but the book remains very good internally, with the neat signature of another Walshaw to the front free endpaper. The dust-wrapper is unclipped although edge-chipped and age-toned. Limited Ediition, this being No. 104 of 2,000,. First Edition. Cloth. Good/Fair. 4to.. Limited Edition.
