Hardback, 1953, reprint (originally published 1919), published by George Allen & Unwin Ltd, London; xxiv + 361 + iii pages and xii + 451 + i respectively.
Octavo/8vo, books measure around 8 5/8" by 5 3/4" by 7/8". No dust jackets. Red cloth binding, gilt lettering to spines. Marking and scuffing to bindings, some fading to spines. Signs of wear, a little rubbing at edges and on hinges. Bindings firm. Page edges a bit browned and scuffed, very foxed on fore-edges and stained on upper edges. Tape marking to pastedowns and endpapers, gift inscription on front free endpaper. Page surfaces generally clean, slight foxing and a little evidence of staining but no underlining, marginalia, etc. See pictures for further information.
