This book is in good condition Heavy surface wear and scratching to the original cloth boards. Boards exposed at the corners and spine ends. All edges gilt. Both hinges are cracked. Some bubbling visible on the rear board, perhaps appropriate for this title. Front end paper is loose and laid in. Previous owner's signature "John V. Anthorp" from 1886 on front endpaper.
