Sobre este artículo

London: Cassell and Company, Limited, 1902. Copy 1046 of 1200. Hardbound. G (Spine has some tears and hinges are cracked and weak, ex college library copy with bookplates; some signatures are loose, otherwise text block is tight and clean.). Green cloth with gilt letters on spine & front cover. Top edge gilt. xii, 196 pp., 35 color plates, 90 bw plates illustrations. "For many years there has been real need of a work on English porcelain which should occupy the gap between the elaborate monographs of single factories by Binns, Haslem, and Owen, and the admirable but brief general sketch by Professor A. H. Church. The present volume is an attempt to remove this deficiency by giving, on a sufficiently extended scale and with adequate illustration, a connected and comprehensive account of the origin and progress of porcelain making in England." (preface) #1046 of 1200 copies. This is an original work and not a facsimile or print-on-demand paperback.
