Many considered it the standard history of England in its day In full calf bindings. Minor losses of leather to back strip heads, with discolouration to heads and tails of back strips of volumes V-VIII. Boards bright. Volume I joints starting, with front board a touch tender. Front joint of volume II, and head of rear joint starting, but firmly held. Volume III, IV, VI, VII joints starting, and firmly held. Head of volume V front joint starting, but firmly held. Volume VIII joints starting, with rear board firm, and front joint tender. Bookplates to front pastedowns. Internally, firmly bound. Pages generally clean and bright, with only the odd spot, most concentrated to plates and pages surrounding them. Very Good

Where are We?
Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
