Ginn & Co., Boston, 1889. apparent first Edition H.C., 432 p.ps., GOOD+. Book also deals with composition. rhetoric & American literature. Brown cloth over board cover has black letting on fr., gilt on spine & faded gilt page ends. Cover has considerable edge wear, heaviest on spine end and back edge, light wear to fr. & corners are worn & bumped. Top corner of pages eroded. Inside, except for prior owner's name on ffep & lightly tanned pages, is in excellent condition. Overall, for an antiquarian book, it is GOOD+.
