LONDON: CASSELL, 1958. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. This is a mixed printing set of this extremely attractive edition of Churchill's work. It uses the original artwork for the hardback 1st edition, with laminated covers rather than the original matter finish. The books are in VERY GOOD condition with VERY GOOD bright, clean price-clipped wrappers, with occasional sunning. No inscriptions. Bindings tight. Condition and edition info for each volume: 1, The Birth of Britain - Eleventh th Edition, fifth impression, 1976. Jacket spine sunned and slightly paler than on panels. Very clean. 2, The New World - Fifth edition, fifth impression, 1974. As per vol 1, with minor rubbing to head of spine on wrapper. 3, The Age of Revolution - Third edition, third impression, 1975. As per Vol 1, but with some sunning to front panel also. Small nick to base of spine. Clean. Vol 4: This is a first edition, 1958. No sunning at all, with nick to head of spine on wrapper. This heavy set will require extra postage.
