Edition, c. 1909- same year on title page in Roman numerals. Top edge of text block is bright gilt, side edge is rough-cut. 231 pages, numerous photos & engravings w/ intact tissue protectors (except tissue for frontis- cleanly separated & present). Green cloth binding is tight, square & clean w/ only a trace of rubbing & edgewear, 2 v. minor narrow white scuffs (1/2 & 1/4"") on back cover. NO sun discolor, bumps or fray. All gilt lettering & title decoration bright, crisp & totally intact. Copy displays very well. Text & endpapers are tight, bright, clean & UNmarked- just a hint of toning. NO owner name, hinge splits, etc.; NOT ex library. Very handsome, well- preserved copy.
