Presumed first edition.Cloth binding, blindstamped decoration, gold titles, 295 pp. followed by advertising. Antique library bookplate. Decorative title page in gold, blue and orange done in style of a medieval manuscript. Full title. Engravings include two-page frontispiece map and six additional fine original engravings (complete). Front endpapers discolored and scuffed. Discard stamp. Boards scuffed and soiled, fraying to top of spine, top edge gilt faded. Very good condition..
