Sobre este artículo

New York, Boston, Montreal: D. & J. Sadlier & Co., 1851. Abbe John Mac-Geoghan (1702-1763) served as a chaplain to the Irish Brigades, who served the French army for some 100 years. Translated from the original French by Patrick O' Kelly (1754-1835). This is a Near Fine copy of the First Edition Thus. There is no publ;ication date, but this is identical to another copy Quercus has seen dated 1851; we therefore assign the same date. Green pebbled cloth binding, stamped in the blind with Irish harp decoration and gilt lettering on the spine. Clean text; 630 pages, indexed. Pages still supple, unfoxed. Frontis is of Brian Boru; also reproduces the original Title Page of an earlier edition prior to the current Title Page. Very minor scuffs and bumps; this is perhaps the nicest copy Quercus has seen. No dustjacket, as issued. Size: 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall. First Thus.. Hard Cover. Near Fine/No Jacket. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.
